  1. Cream butter and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Add beaten eggs and golden syrup.
  3. Add ifted cocoa, flour and salt.
  4. Add milk.
  5. Disolve carb soda in boiling water, add to mixture.
  6. Mix it together.
  7. Put in round cake tin.
  8. Put in oven for 30-35 mins at 350 degrees
  9. Take out of oven and cool.
  10. Cut cake in half so you have 2 circles.
  11. Ice both cakes and put one on top.
  12. Serve and enjoy.
