  1. This is delicious, and oh, so easy! I halved the recipe and baked in an 8 x 8 pan with excellent results.

  2. 5 Stars for this recipe and for Beth Moore!! She is an awesome woman of God! I recently fed this to a group of college students from other countries who were on a tour of Texas! They all loved it. Just FYI - You can make this with only one cream cheese and it still comes out good. Also, at my house it will only feed about 12 definately not 20!

  3. I had these at a church potluck and just had to have the recipe. After a quick search and a trial test, this seems to be the same recipe! So yummy. And easy to whip up. I also cut the recipe in half and used an 8x8 pan. Worked perfectly.

  4. My best friend made this dessert last spring. It was SO good, I had to have the recipe! I've since made it at least 4 times, and every time it's a huge hit among guests. One time when my brother-in-law was here, he enjoyed the sopapilla cheesecake so much, I ended up putting some in a container for him to take home. Without my knowledge, the entire time I was fixing up his "goody bag", he was sneaking bites out of MY pan! LOL!

  5. This is my most requested dessert recipe. It's delicious and very easy to make. For my friends and family it serves 12-15, not 20. I tried it with low fat cream cheese and that lowered the rating to about three stars. Total cream cheese power is the way to go with this one and don't make it unless you are willing to endure the continuing requests for it again and again.

I was born in Oklahoma, raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas, went to college both in Lewisville, Texas and near Cleveland, Ohio. I met my husband who went to law school in Cleveland and much to my southern families dismay, have lived here in Ohio for 18 years. If I could have the best of both worlds, I would live in Ohio during the summer and fall and live in Arkansas for the winter and spring. I am a mom of 5 children. Three girls and 2 boys and we have homeschooled them from the beginning. I love having my kids around but do enjoy getting to travel with my husband for overnight trips. My husband and I are big Nascar fans. His favorite driver is Tony Stewart and mine is Kevin Harvick. This works out well except for when Harvick wrecks Stewart or vice versa. We often host Nascar parties in our home so I am constantly checking this website for great recipes with many reviews.
