ingredients
- 4 tablespoons instant coffee (French vanilla mix)
- 6 cups hot water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup chocolate syrup
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 cups milk
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
directions
- Mix together the coffee mix, hot water and sugar in a lare bowl or pitcher.
- Add the chocolate syrup, vanilla and milk; mix well and cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Serve either hot or cold with a scoop of icecream on top of each serving.

Terrific coffee treat I'mPat. I enjoyed this tasty decadent treat very much. Made exactly as written and wouldn't change a thing. It was so good, I tried it both ways, hot and cold. It was quick and so easy to make. Thanks so much for sharing this winner. -
Mmmmmmmmm (place happy face here). Really marvelous. I made this some Malted Vanilla ice cream that I made for PAC a couple of days age and espresso powder. Lainey used the word decadent and I'll go along with that 100%. Pure pleasure. -

I've had a recipe very similar to this before, though it was always called something much tamer... like "Bridal Shower Punch." Lol! This is incredibly rich and decadent. Wouldn't change a thing! Reviewed for Went to the Market Tag.

With the demise of the forums and with no more interaction on site with what was a great community and it was a pleasure to get to know so many of you over the years and to have had the privilege of meeting some of you in person. For me now this is just another recipe site like to many on the net, it has lost its specialness, such a pity especially when Scripps changed the name from Recipezaar to Food.com and made this statement sorry cannot replicate here as considered invalid but they basically said yes the community was valuable hence .com was short for community but it was a pack of lies as they were not willing to put the money into that community and got rid of the forums which was the community so for .com has become .crap.
