- 3 (12 ounce) cans Spam
- 1 whole fresh pineapple
- 12 ounces teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1⁄4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
directions
- Bring remaining 8 oz of teriyaki sauce to a simmer; add teriyaki and corn starch mixture while whisking; bring to a simmer for about a minute; remove from heat and set aside.
- Slice fresh pineapple int thick slices, grill over open coals then cut into large chunks.
- Slice Spam into two slices, Grill over open coals till well browned then cut slices into a total of 18 cubes.
- Skewer a chunk of grilled spam with a chunk of grilled pineapple.
- Arrange skewers on a platter with Teriyaki sauce in a dish for dipping.
- Sprinkle Chopped cilantro across skewers and serve immediately.
- add 4 ounces of the teriyaki sauce to the corn starch.
