  • In a large saucepan, cook the sausage over medium heat until no longer pink.
  • Stir in the butter until its melted.
  • Sprinkle the mixture with the flour.
  • Gradually stir in the milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring the gravy to a boil and cook and stir for 2 minutes until thickened.
  • Serve over biscuits.

  5. Nummy, nummy. We had this for dinner tonight, and everyone loved it. I wanted a thicker gravy, so ended up using just 2 cups of milk. I'm afraid that the full 3 1/2 cups would make it too runny. But the taste was great, and it was a breeze to make. Thanks!
