  1. Just off the dinner table and we loved it too. Didn't add the ham to mine but served a nice ham steak alongside. I did use fresh broccoli instead of the frozen and it worked out well. Made for the Aussie Recipe Swap.

  2. So easy to make, so tasty to eat! We loved this for breakfast, we had everything on hand and it was quick to throw together. We'll definitely make this again! Thanks!

  3. You put your foot in this one, Ms Sally! We had it for dinner last night and loved it! Halved or thereabouts, this was a very easy prep using up leftover ham and previously thawed hashbrowns .My frozen broccoli had met an icy demise so I gave it the last rites and then rooted around to find frozen asparagus cuts. I admit to not measuring much of anything; just dumping it all in an 11-inch by 7-inch casserole dish. I added a bit of seasoning – salt, pepper, garlic powder and a glug or 2 of Tabasco sauce. After 40 minutes, the edges were crispy and the center was set so I called it done. We ate the heck out of it! Of all the dishes I have made to finish off leftover ham, this is my all-time favorite! Thanks for sharing!

  4. We loved this! But I have to tell you a funny one...due to airheadedness, we were out of our normal Cheddar. So--being resourceful--I used the leftover Cheese Whizz that DH & kids had on their annual camping trip! It looked so funny--squiggled over the top of the casserole (see photo)! I was a bit apprehensive when it came time to eat it--because I generally do not like "fake cheese"--but this was really, really good! I subbed a cauliflower-broccoli blend, used my own biscuit mix, 2% milk and real eggs. So, definitely not as heart-healthy as the original recipe---but quite delicious never-the-less. I halved the recipe (sort-of) and baked it in an 11x7 pan...it set up nicely and a NICE change from the usual breakfast casseroles with bread cubes!

  5. This was a very good and very easy breakfast casserole. I halved the recipe and used an 8x8 baking dish. I did have some trouble getting the egg mixture to set; I think I probably baked it for about an hour before it wasn't runny. I am thinking this may be because I didn't thaw the frozen ingredients. Once it came out of the oven, though, it was awesome! I will definitely be making this again, increasing the baking time to 1 hour. Thanks MsSally!
