  • Blanching the beans: Add to a large pot of boiling water; cook uncovered 3 minutes, drain and immediately plunge beans in bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Cool completely and drain, then pat dry.
  • Cover plate with lettuce.
  • Arrange remaining ingredients in rows over lettuce.
