  1. WOW - why am I the first person to rate this?!? This is one of the best hummus' I have ever made or eaten - FABULOUS!! Full of flavor, the garlic and lime compliment the black beans so well! My DH kept saying 'sooo good' Five well deserved stars here! I served with rosemary flavored crackers and recipe#140763. Not to mention this is ready in under 5 minutes, a keeper for sure! Made for My 3-Chefs.

  2. What a great idea to use black beans instead of chickpeas in hummus! I enjoyed it, and the best part was that it only took about 5 minutes to make. I used a hand-blender and mixed everything right in the serving bowl. The flavor is a bit mild for my tastes, but I'm already thinking of adding in some ingredients next time... maybe chopped artichokes, cilantro, sriracha sauce or jalapenos? Thanks for sharing this versatile recipe!

  3. Fabulous alternative to regular hummus. Beans are so healthy for you, too. This is such a great dip for a healthy snack. I served it with homemade whole wheat pita chips but it would also work well with chopped veggies (like red pepper, etc...). Delcious, full of flavor dip. I love garlic so I threw in an extra clove. The lime works wonders for this dip, don't skip that part. This didn't need very much salt or pepper. Thanks to Brooke the Cook in WI for recommending this yummy dip.
