  • Mince garlic in food processor. Add beans, 1 tbl of reserved liquid, and the remaining ingredients. Process until smooth.

  1. I just made some before I saw this recipe. It's nicely blended and creamy, and I worked mine pretty well, too. I used more tahini, lemon juice, garlic and 1/2 tsp cumin. I forgot the cayenne which was good because it has plenty of heat for some reason. It is the best "basic" hummus I've made yet, just wanted to use up a can of cheap black beans, surprisingly tasty.
     
  2. I don't think...wait...nope... no, I haven't ever made black bean hummus prior. But, will do so again!
