Black Bean Hummus

  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Process until smooth.
  • Transfer to a bowl and serve with pita bread wedges or tortilla chips.
  • Note 1: If you like your hummus a tad thinner, add a teaspoon at a time, additional water or liquid from the can.
  • Note 2: To make pita wedges, cut each pita into 8 wedges. Arrange on a baking sheet. Bake at 425° for about 6 minutes, turning once.
