ingredients
- batter
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup hershey's powdered baking cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup water
- 1⁄3 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- cream cheese, filling
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1⁄3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 6 ounces chocolate chips (1/2 bag of chips)
directions
- Sift together dry ingredients.
- Mix water, oil and vanilla together.
- Mix dry and wet ingredients together to make a batter.
- Blend cream cheese, sugar and egg together.
- Fill cupcake liners 1/3 full with chocolate batter. Then drop in one heaping teaspoon cream cheese mixture into center of batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees.
- After cupcakes have cooled, sprinkle powdered sugar across the top of all cupcakes.
