ingredients

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup strong coffee, hot
³⁄₄ cup cocoa
1 teaspoon salt
¹⁄₂ cup vegetable oil or 1/2 cup canola oil
1 cup milk

directions

Sift dry ingredients then add oil and eggs.
Alternate milk with chocolate (cocoa and coffee).
Mix thoroughly.
Batter will be very thin.
Bake in a greased tube pan-one that doesn’t come apart because thin batter will leak.
Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
