"I'd poke larger (then fork size) holes in this cake since it is a bundt, so more glaze soaks into the cake."

  1. A doctor that I used to work with would make this on my birthday and other special occasions. His glaze was different. It was 1/2 stick of butter, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup Kahlua - heated to liquify the sugar and cooled a bit before pouring over cake. It was delicious.

  2. Excellent- an instant hit. Will be amongst my 'go-to' recipes from now on :)

  3. I've made this cake for years and love it. I found that you can't find a 6 oz. instant chocolate pudding mix anymore, so I'm using the 5 oz. box. It seems to work just fine. I also top the slices with whipped cream and raspberries. Yum!

  4. My kind of cake! Simple and oh so good. Thanks for sharing this nice recipe. Made for What's on the Menu tag.

  5. This is an EXCELLENT recipe! Baked mine for an hour instead of 70 mins. also, I didnt have the 6oz. box of chocolate pudding, so used 2 of the smaller boxes & it came out fine. The glaze is also so simple but out of this world! I added more powdered sugar to make it thicker. I made this for a party. Was hoping to have left overs to take home, but all that was left were crumbs! I love it :)
