Ingredients: 1 cup blackberry; 1 teaspoon butter; 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar; 1/4 cup brown sugar; 2 tablespoons dark corn syrup; 1/2 cup catsup; 4 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed; 1 teaspoon smoked paprika; 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt; 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper; crushed red pepper flakes, to taste

"This BBQ sauce goes great on ribs and chicken, but it can be used on just about anything. Perfect for those tired of plain ol' BBQ sauce."

ingredients

1 cup blackberry
1 teaspoon butter
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
¹⁄₄ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons dark corn syrup
¹⁄₂ cup catsup
4 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
³⁄₄ teaspoon kosher salt
¹⁄₄ teaspoon ground black pepper
crushed red pepper flakes, to taste

directions

Puree all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and simmer for about an hour. Let cool and store in the fridge.
