Blackberry Cobbler

"I think the addition of the honey in the cobbler makes this recipe just a little bit special. I found this recipe several years ago in a regional magazine. It was submitted by an elderly gentleman who said he knew it dated at least back to the late 1800's. Enjoy!"

  1. I was just a little leary of the cornmeal and no flour in this recipe but I needn't have been. Blackberries and cornmeal seem perfectly suited to each other as they both have a grainy, gritty texture. This is delicious and smells like heaven in the oven.
