  1. Preheat oven to 350°F

  3. Remove pan from heat and cool slightly.
  4. Add sugars, vanilla, and eggs.
  5. Beat well.
  6. Add flour, salt, nuts, and baking powder.
  7. Stir until well blended.
  8. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
  9. Sprinkle chocolate chips over mixture.
  10. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, or until golden.
