“These are a little savory bite filled with whatever jam you desire. I have used fig jam, hot pepper jelly and strawberry. Feel free to substitute whatever you like or use up those little bits in the fridge.”

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the flour, butter, blue cheese and a few grinds of black pepper in bowl of food processor. Process until dough just comes together and starts to form a ball.
  3. Place dough on lightly floured surface and roll out to 1/8 inch thick with floured rolling pin. Cut into rounds with a floured 1 inch biscuit cutter.
  4. Using your knuckle or finger, make an indention in the top of each circle and fill it with 1 teaspoon of jam.
  5. Bake for 10-14 minutes or until the jam is bubbling and the pastry is lightly golden.
  6. Let cool and enjoy.
