  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Add sugar and mix until smooth.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
  5. Mix into butter mixture. Do not over beat.
  6. Dredge lemon rind and blueberries in 2 tablespoons of flour.
  7. Fold into batter.
  8. Spray a bread pan with non stick cooking spray.
  9. Place batter in prepared pan.
  10. Bake for 55 minutes.
  11. Meanwhile, heat sugar and lemon juice until dissolved.
  12. Pierce bread all over with holes.
  13. Pour lemon mixture over bread.
  14. Cool bread for 30 minutes.
