ingredients
- 1⁄3 cup light sour cream
- 2⁄3 cup low-fat milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons lemon rind or 1 1/2 teaspoons orange rind, grated
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3 cups white bread flour
- 3⁄4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 1⁄4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 3⁄4 cup fresh blueberries or 3/4 cup frozen blueberries
directions
- Add all ingredients except blueberries to machine according to manufacturer's directions.
- Select sweet or basic white cycle.
- Add blueberries at ingredient signal, or about 20 or 30 minutes into cycle. Don't be alarmed when the dough becomes quite soft and sticky after you add the berries.
