  1. This is a yummy applel crisp! Loved the apple and cranberry combination and the topping is so good. I used Granny Smith apples and next time might add one more for a little more filling. To dress it up add ice cream and some warm caramel sauce. Made and reviewed for Kittencal's Recipe Tag Game.

  2. This was fairly tasty. I used homemade pie filling and used 1/4 cup dried cranberries and 1/4 cup raisins. I plan on trying it with frozen chopped cranberries. Thanks for a tasty dessert

  3. Just loved this -the crumble topping is addictive !! I used frozen cranberries and fresh apples - made a wonderful combo - made for Holiday Tag.

  4. This is a great dessert, CoffeeB; Thanks for sharing! My mom makes a dessert similar to this for the holidays, but I'm glad I didn't have to wait! I used only 2 HUGE granny smith apples and craisins, with a mixture of cinnamon and nutmeg. Next time, I think I'll make a maple whipped cream to serve with the crunchy goodness!

  5. I can only echo the other reviews, this is excellent. I used dried cherries in place of cranberries (not a great fan), and apple pie spice. My topping didn't "set" because I used 2 tbsp of Splenda regular and only 1 tbsp of margarine (I made a half recipe). Thats ok, I expected that and it's a trade off that I'm very willing to make to reduce as much sugar and fat as I can. I love it with no reservations :D.
