  • In a large skillet, combine marshmallows, sugar, water, and candies.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until candies are dissolved.
  • Add apples.
  • Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until apples are tender, gently turning once. Add lemon juice.
  • Cool.

  1. Made as directed and the kids absolutely inhaled them. As the mixture cools, it thickens a great deal without getting hard. A fun fall dessert with the flavor of candied apples without all of the work, sweeter than baked or fried apples. Thanks for sharing the recipe! Made for PAC Fall 2008.
