  • Mix cornstarch and salt. Toss chicken in cornstarch/salt mixture until lightly coated.
  • Heat oil in large skillet. Add garlic and saute.
  • Add chicken chunks and cook quickly until chicken browns.
  • Remove chicken and set aside. Allow pan to cool slightly.
  • After the skillet has slightly cooled, add the rest of the ingredients and stir until the brown sugar has dissolved. Bring to a boil.
  • Add chicken back in, reduce heat to low, and simmer until chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened, about 15 minutes.
  • Serve over rice.
