Bow Ties With Sausage and Peppers

"Pasta and spicy Italian sausage... can life get any better then this? Yes, but only if you end this meal with a rich chocolate dessert! We like things a bit spicy at our house, but if you prefer something a bit milder, you can always use mild or sweet Italian sausage as I'm sure the dish will turn out just as good."

  1. I used mild veal italian sausages and a sweet red bell pepper. I used chicken broth. I used small shells. It was a great meal. Just a few ingredients but so much flavors. My son loved it. Thanks Chef Buggsy Mate :) Made for the Australian January 2011 swap

  2. Fab week night meal. I diced up beef chipolatas and used green peppers straight from the garden - DS and DD enthusiastically ate this all up !

I am blessed with a wonderful dh and four fantastic, crazy children. I am a stay at home mom who works from son up till son down. My favorite cookbook is not one that I cook with very often, it actually sits on top of my pantry propped up in an old basket. The cookbook was given to my grandmother just prior to her marriage to my grandfather and it has the family prayer and some recipes that my great-grandmother penned in her own hand inside. It is called All About Home Baking. <a href="http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/Missymop/?action=view&current=daringdingos.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y254/Missymop/daringdingos.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <img src="http://www.satsleuth.com/cooking/Swap14.JPG"> <img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c105/jewelies/GrassTree.jpg"> <img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c105/jewelies/Erica.jpg"> <img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c105/jewelies/BottleBrush.jpg"> <img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c105/jewelies/Darwinia.jpg"> <img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c105/jewelies/babygrey-1.jpg"> <img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c105/jewelies/Correa.jpg"> <img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c105/jewelies/picNW72Oj-1.jpg"> <img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c105/jewelies/picCdyPjI-1.jpg"> <img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c105/jewelies/pic9ysNPn-1.jpg"> <img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c105/jewelies/picbtGrUW-1.jpg"> <img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c105/jewelies/pictSF7ey-1.jpg"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/adoptedspring08.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/PACfall08partic.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/PACSpring09Iwasadopted.jpg"> <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/PACSpring09Participation.jpg"> <img src="http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e110/flower753/Food/my3chefsnov2008.jpg"> <img src=http://i335.photobucket.com/albums/m445/mliss29/vegnswap1/group10peppers.jpg> <img src=http://i335.photobucket.com/albums/m445/mliss29/vegnswap2/group04cherry.jpg> <img src="http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n191/bb_babe626/Recipes/makemyrecipebannnner.jpg"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/Holiday-plaid_HPI.gif">
