  • Preheat oven to 350°F Have ready a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Spread the bread and chocolate chips in the pan.
  • Beat together remaining ingredients. Pour this custard over the bread.
  • Bake about 35 minutes, or until firm but not dry. Serve warm or at room temperature.

  1. I did use a heavy, nutty, whole grain bread for this pudding & also decided to add almost a teaspoon of cinnamon to the mix for some of that added 'extra' you talked about in your introduction!
