  1. I love finding a good new bread recipe. This one is a winner. Very tasty loaf that slices easily. It makes great toast! I will be making this one a lot.

  2. Bread that mixed up ok was fine - but nothing special. Half of it was a dry clump of flour. I actually thought for a second I didn't put yeast in because the part that baked properly was sunken. Not very impressive and I'm not interested enough to troubleshoot the problems.

  3. This bread was Fantastic! It has wonderful texture and taste. My family asked me to make it again the next day. This one will go in my favorite's cookbook!

  4. For some reason this loaf clumped into a brick in the bottom of the pan. [?not enough liquid] That is the reason for the lack of stars. However the bread that was salvagable was fantastic. Wonderful tasting and we polished it all off in one sitting. This bread is one of the best smelling breads while cooking I have come across too. My advice is to check it a few times to make sure it is mixing properly and to add a little more liquid if needed. And the loaf is a 1 kg loaf.

I live in Western KS and am a K-5 Librarian. I love to cook! Don't we all? I'm married to a VERY picky eater. For me, cooking is a great way to relax. I love baking the best. Christmas is my favorite time of year because I can make so many yummy goodies. I'd like to make goodies year-round but we definitely don't need it!
