  • 226.79 g hot pork sausage, cooked
  • 1419.54 ml white bread, cut into cubes
  • 473.18 ml cheese (cheddar or other yellow cheese)
  • 4 eggs
  • 177.44 ml milk
  • 236.59 ml picante sauce (Pace is good)

directions

  • Place cooked and crumbled sausage into a greased 2 quart casserole dish.
  • Put bread over sausage; then cheese over bread.
  • Mix eggs, milk and picante sauce and pour over everything.
  • Place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

  1. Very good, and easy to make. I used Italian loaf bread, Sharp Cheddar cheese, hot bulk sausage, and just a few splashes of Picante Sauce:) Made for my BF for Father's Day, and he had three helpings!<br/><br/>A real winner

  3. So Yummy! I doubled this and added frozen diced potatos with onion and peoppers.. so good... didn't have any left over. Great for weekends or when hunting season arrives. Thanks.
     
  4. This was SO GOOD! I did use more sausage and subd' it for sweet not hot, a little to early in the a.m. for my DS's and spicy food, I served salsa on the side, and this reheated very well. Thanks Danny-

I'm disable now for a couple years. I was in sales for 25 years and was a policeman for 5 years before that and just floated around a few years before that. I've been married to the same gal for 30 years, got two sons and two grandchildren. I got into the recipe seen and have got hooked on it, I'm not a cook but I'm learning as I go.
