“I wanted fried artichokes and couldn't find a recipe suiting my needs so adapted my own. I used soymilk instead of regular milk because of a milk allergy and it made no difference. Hubby loves this with ranch dressing and parmesan cheese on top! :) I think it tastes great by itself!”

  1. Combine eggs and milk in a bowl and mix.
  2. Combine breadcrumbs and seasonings in a plate or ziploc bag, however you prefer.
  3. Drain artichoke hearts. Dip in egg/milk wash.
  4. Coat in breadcrumbs mix.
  5. Repeat egg/milk wash & then breadcrumbs.
  6. Fry in hot oil either in skillet or deep fryer for 3-5 minutes. Remember they continue to brown after you take them out of the oil. These are better slightly overdone (darker brown)!
