Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (18 ounce) box cake mix
  • 2 large eggs (for chewy bars) or 3 eggs (for cake-like bars)
  • 1 (21 ounce) can pie filling
  • 12 cup nuts (optional)
  • FROSTING
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In large mixing bowl, combine mix, eggs, filling and nuts.
  3. Spread this mixture on a greased jelly-roll pan.
  4. Bake 30 minutes.
  5. FROSTING: Combine ingredients in bowl and spread over cooled cake.
  6. Cut into bars.
