Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 wheel brie cheese (8oz)
  • 1 (8 ounce) package crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 12 cup smucker's pure apricot jam
  • 12 teaspoon chipotle hot pepper sauce (optional)
  • 14 cup walnuts, toasted, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment.
  3. Unroll dough and place on lined baking sheet.
  4. Press seams together to form a rectangle.
  5. Place brie in the middle of dough.
  6. Brush edges lightly with beaten egg, and then wrap around brie, leaving the brie uncovered in the center. It should look like a volcano.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Combine the jam and hot pepper sauce, if using.
  9. Spoon jam into well on top of brie, and sprinkle with toasted nuts.
  10. Let set at least 30 minutes before serving so cheese can reform.
