  1. I've been buying this at our local grocery store and thought I would make it myself. This is a great recipe. I like substituting the bacon with turkey bacon to make it lower in fat as well as using light mayonnaise. I normally don't like raw broccoli but I love this salad.

  2. Perfect! My SIL made this years ago. I had a hankering so went looking. Thank you for posting! The only change was that I used shallots instead of red onion.

  3. This is a great recipe! I loved it and so did my family. I used a half a cup of carrots and half as much sugar. Awesome!

  4. Delicious! I blanch the broccoli, as we don't like raw broccoli. I also used pecans instead of sunflower seeds. A local restaurant has a similar salad that I love, so I was happy to find this recipe and recreate it. Will definitely make again!

  5. My family really enjoyed this one, especially my oldest son who devoured the last of it. I will be making it again!
