  • Simmer broccoli, covered, in water for 3 to 4 minutes, or until broccoli is crisp-tender.
  • Remove from heat and drain.
  • While broccoli is cooking, stir together mustard, olive oil and vinegar.
  • Stir in mustard sauce.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  1. This is a nice side dish that is very easy to make. It doesn't have a lot of flavor, just a hint of dijon. I used fresh steamed broccoli and added garlic since I didn't have any garlic-flavored olive oil. Given the fact that I am always looking for simple and low fat things to do to broccoli I will likely make this again.
