  1. Combine the flour, walnuts and sugar.
  2. Cut in the butter, until mixture is crumbly.
  3. Quickly stir in the vanilla and chocolate, being careful not to cream the mixtrue.
  4. Press mixture into a 9-inch baking pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minuts. Cool.
  6. Break into pieces and serve.
  7. Good served with: Vanilla ice cream and espresso coffee, if desired.
