  1. Even though I didn't take this to work for lunch, I still enjoyed it very much! :-) Great mingling of flavors and textures, and something I will certainly enjoy again.

  2. Fantastic! Zippy, sweet, smoky and edgy. Great sandwhich. Thanks CountryLady!

  3. My husband and I thought these sandwiches were very delicious. The combination of flavors was interesting, unique and quite tasty. The clinic staff I work with wants me to make enough for everyone to try--so guess what I'll be doing tonight. Thanks for sharing this great sandwich, Country Lady.

  4. My son and I was looking for some idea's for his school lunch that starts Aug. 3rd. Patrick wanted to try it before he brought it to school, so we had it for supper last night and loved it! He left out the jalapeno slices, he said it was "just to hot for him, but dad would love it with more jalapeno slices." Thanks for the idea.

In the words of Tracy Byrd, "I'm from the country & I like it that way"!! On May 1, 2008 my husband and I started a new adventure. We'll be living in a 37 foot RV while our new home is under construction. Its out in the country on a dead end dirt road with lots of trees. For the next 4 months or so, most meals will be cooked on the BBQ and life will be full of challenges! We love spending quality time with our friends & family - especially the grandkids!! The photo is 4 generations - my 84 year old mother, myself, my daughter & my youngest granddaughter - taken at the end of 2006. I've participated in many contests & events here on Zaar but this is the first banner that I've posted. My thanks to Dreamgoddess for hosting the contest & SusieD for the banner design! <img src="http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f249/Dreamgoddess555/Narrow1-1.jpg">
