  1. This was indeed tasty but i felt the brownie flavor really got drowned out by the rich caramel. I found it over powering and i didn't even use a whole jar. Also i didn't use toffee bits because as i assembled it i was afraid it'd be too sweet. Maybe they were the key in brining together all the flavors. the mousse was delicious though!

  2. WOW! This dessert was really good. I think next time I will make double the mousse.

  3. Good, rich and super fast and easy to put together. Looks great in a trifle bowl, mine was full to the top. I used Ghiradelli brownie mix and a jar of Mrs. Richardson's butterscitch caramel sauce. Also subbed an 8 oz pkg of Heath milk chocolate bits, found on the baking aisle, for the crushed candy bars. Quick to put together and so convenient since it can be made the night before. Thanks, Lubie, for sharing the recipe!

  4. Amazing stuff. Made this past Saturday (11/12) for my future MIL's b-day dinner. "Oh my goodness," and "That looks amazing," were the type of comments I heard on bringing it to the table. I baked the brownies earlier in the week and froze them, and I'd recommend that idea to anyone who has the time to do some advance prep work.

  5. Loved this trifle!
