  1. I am so sorry about this rating, but I have to be honest! I followed the recipe exactly but they didn't have any flavor...it was ready right when you said- 25 minutes- and I was really excited about it. Normally, I stick to box mixes (even then I have a tendency to overcook them) and today, since I didn't have any, I found your recipe. I gave it a 2 out of 5, rather than a 1, because of how easy they were to prepare, and how they cooked evenly; as well as how they looked (and smelled) great. Again, I am sorry that they didn't turn out good. The texture was like a cake instead of a brownie. Perhaps it could be a cake mix? I should have added some chocolate frosting to the top to see....I'll keep looking for more brownie recipes!

  2. This is a pretty good recipe for low fat brownies. I really liked the addition of the almonds.

  3. i like the sweet combination of applesauce and almonds with the chocolate , very original

  4. for a low fat version of a brownie this is pretty good. I agree with the other person who commented about the brownies being more cake like but that's just fine with me. For people on a low cal diet this would be fine for them as a little treat instead of a big ol' calorie ridden one.

  5. could be better.

I live in Brisbane, Australia. I'm an Administration Officer for the State Government. I'm only 21 years old and I absolutely love cooking. I learnt from my mother when at a very younge age. I've held over 15 dinner parties. The biggest one I've held was for 16 people, and catered for my own 21st. I know quite a lot about low fat cooking and loosing weight. I lost a total of close to 35kgs. Starting out on my diet I discovered I had galstones which helped me on my weight loss. Now I have gained a lot of information and knowledge about weigh loss and low fat cooking. I'm actually just starting to get into Muay Thai Kick Boxing although I'm just a fan and love going to watch. Also just have to mention my lovely dog Snoopy!
