  1. This was not a favorite for DH but I enjoyed it. I used ground round and 1 tablespoon of curry powder instead of 2. Diced the new potatoes into small cubes and used baby peas. Served with the crusty bread and would like to give it a try with the rice too.

  2. This is a 5 star recipe for *easy to make*. We had this tonight and it was not to our taste, but we are "chili heads". I doubled the amount of curry powder required and I think this is a good recipe for people who have not developed a taste for curry. I suggest it be tried.

I live in Toronto,Canada, have 4 kids ranging from 16 years to 18 months.I worked for McDonalds restaurants Canada for 9 years(was their breakfast manager)and loved it, but decided to be a stay at home mom.I love cooking and trying out recipes from different countries. My husband & kids enjoy trying out the different dishes and even my 18 month old enjoys a plate of curry! I love browsing through different cookbooks. I hate doing dishes and my kitchen looks like a war zone while I'm cooking and everyone knows to stay out of mom's kitchen until she is done or you'll get pulled into doing dishes!!!
