I modified this a bit due to what I had in the fridge. I used 1 lb bag of frozen brussel sprouts and a 1 lb bag of pearl onions. Instead of bacon I used aboout 4 inches of abruzze sausage and instead of cheddar I used a medium sharp italian grating cheese. This came out extreamly flavorful. It's a keeper.

In the future look for my lentil soup, from scratch, and my red wine, and olive oil, salad dressing, with dry parmesian cheese. I'm still working out the measurements.
