  • Melt 2 Tblsp. butter in a large skillet over medium to high heat.
  • Add onion, and stirring constantly, fry until soft, about 3 minutes.
  • Add bulgar and remaining 2 Tblsp. of butter and fry for another minute, stirring constantly to mix well.
  • Stir in water or broth, and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to simmer, cover, and cook for about 25 minutes until bulgar is tender.
  • Add salt to taste, stir well. Serve warm.
