- 1 lb beef sirloin
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, toasted
- 2 scallions, sliced thinly
directions
- Place beef in the freezer for 45 minutes to make it easier to slice.
- Slice the beef very thinly.
- Mix together the other ingredients and marinate the beef in this mixture for an hour.
- Heat a medium sauté pan over high heat and cook the beef fully.
- Slice the scallions thinly and garnish the beef with these and the toasted sesame seeds.
- Serve over steamed white rice.
