  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Blend white sugar, brown sugar, and butter; then cream for 2 more minutes.
  • Add eggs and vanilla and beat till well blended.
  • Sift flour - measure - then sift again with the remaining dry ingredients. Add gradually to the creamed mixture.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls (or cookie scoop) onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350 for about 7 - 8 minutes . . . or you can bake at 325 for 15 minutes.

  1. These are by far the best chocolate chip cookies. They are just the way I like them - soft and chewy. They don't flatten out into crispy frisbies like some other recipes do. Thanks for a wonderful recipe!
     
  2. This makes a ton of cookes, but they were very very good. I used the chocolate chunks and I used splenda for baking for the brown sugar and it turned out perfect...
     
  3. This is another recipe I made to help out some neighbor kids with their cookie sale, & these cookies went over in a big way, but then chocolate chip cookies usually do, I think! I did use a dark brown sugar, which I thought added a nice touch, & also used slivered almonds! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
