Busy Mom Lasagna for the Crock Pot

"This is an easy crock pot lasagna. Kids really like it. I usually double the spaghetti sauce so it is a lot moister. This makes a lot, so I usually freeze some of it."

  1. We've made it twice now. I was having similar problems with it being a little dry, but a little extra sauce fixed that. Great recipe, great taste.

  2. I used exactly the amount of everything, except I used two whole jars of sauce. I cooked it for a total of 6 hours on low, as I had to go to work. It was dried out, and had very little taste. I think the cooking time needs to be drastically lowered and more sauce needs to be added.

  3. This was pretty good but definitely needed more sauce because it stuck pretty bad on the sides and was dried out. I will make it again for sure, but add a lot more sauce to the crockpot. Thanks for a great and easy recipe!

  4. Delicious !! My family and I really enjoyed this recipe. It makes a lot so we got plenty of leftovers. I added 8 ounces of cream cheese instead of 4 and added a large jar of sauce. Other than that I made it as written. Thank you for posting the recipe.

  5. We did like this, but did not "love" it; hence the 3 stars. I followed the recipe exact, but just doubled the cream cheese and added some fresh garlic. Per your suggestion, I used a 40-oz jar of sauce. After 2 hours on high, it was really just about done.....and drying out. I added a little water and swithced it to low for just 1 hour, then I turned it off. It tasted alright but was very dried out. Even with the saour cream and (double) the cream cheese, it wasn't creamy or cheesey at all. :( I would make this again, BUT I would cook the noodles first and then assemble in a lasagna pan and just bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes. I'm sure that would work very well. Thanx for sharing!
