- 120 g Greek yogurt
- 400 g chicken
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 4 garlic cloves, grated
- 2 1⁄2 cm fresh ginger, grated
- 1 onion, cubed
- 25 g butter
- 400 ml tomato puree
- 125 ml cream
directions
- Cube the chicken, add yogurt, all the spices, garlic and ginger. Mix well, and let marinade overnight.
- Heat frying pan to medium heat, add half the butter and onion, cook until softened.
- Remove, and drain, chicken from the marinade, add to frying pan. Cook until browned. Add tomato puree, and cook until chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Reduce heat to low and add the cream, making sure the mixture is not too hot, to prevent the cream splitting. Season as desired.
