Butter-Herb Glaze Mixture for Dinner Rolls & Bread

"An excellent and easy to prepare brush on herb glaze for bread and dinner rolls. This also makes a good dipping sauce for bread as well as fish and seafood like lobster and shrimp. Cook time listed is just for melting the butter ;-)"

  1. This made my refidgerated biscuits appear homemade. I can not wait to try this on spaghetti night! What a great compliment to spaghetti it would be. This will be a great compliment to spaghetti instead of regular garlic bread.

  2. This butter glaze was fast, easy, and tasted great. I spread it atop rolls before baking and it make them look lovely with all the bits of dried herbs - this makes ordinary rolls look special. I made a half batch and was able to brush this butter glaze over 25 rolls. I may try brushing this mixture over fish or chicken next time as well.

  3. Absolutely LOVE this glaze, it goes perfectly with my home made rolls!

  4. Awesome! And so easy and delicious! I used Smart Balance Spread with Flaxseed Oil. I had a couple frozen Pillsbury french rolls that I used this on, and I have a couple leftover Pilsbury Low Fat Crescent rolls that I'm going to heat up with this butter-herb mixture. I agree this would complement spaghetti wonderfully. I didn't melt the mixture and brush it on (no pastry brush, lol)- I mixed it up as a butter spread and spread it on the hot french roll. Mmm. I will try the crescent in a few mins. Thank you 1Steve! :) I only made half the recipe, and am refrigerating the leftover since I just 'whipped' it up, instead of melting it. Ok, just tried the crescent rolls, yum, yum. :) Excellent herb mix. Thanks! P.S. I bet this would be awesome tossed with hot cooked pasta or melted over hot popped popcorn!

  5. Very good, I used it tonight to spice up some ordinary store bought dinner rolls. Thanks for posting.
