- 1 (2 -3 lb) chicken pieces
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1⁄3 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
directions
- Place chicken in an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in.x 2-in. baking pan.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil.
- Remove from the heat and pour over chicken.
- Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees F for 1-1/2 hours or until juices run clear, basting occasionally.
