Cake
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3⁄4 cup granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1⁄3 cup buttermilk
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄3 cup butter, melted

Filling
- 2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)

Topping
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄3 cup all-purpose flour
- 3⁄4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ginger
- 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1⁄4 cup butter
directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- For Cake: Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. In another bowl beat egg, buttermilk and vanilla; stir in melted butter.
- Add dry ingredients, stirring until well mixed.
- Spread batter in a well-greased 9x9-inch pan.
- Sprinkle with blueberries.
- For Topping: Mix topping ingredients until crumbly, then spread over blueberries.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until topping is brown.
