Hello, I'm Cynthia and live in the greater Los Angeles area. I grew up in Michigan just north of Detroit and moved to Los Angeles a very long time ago.
My love of cooking and baking started at the age of four when my mother would sit me on the kitchen counter, place a bowl in my lap and a spoon in my hand. By the age of 12 I was able to cook Thanksgiving Dinner on my own.
My mom collected recipes and I followed in her footsteps. My collection fills two filing cabinets and now fills up my hard drive! :)
My passions in life? Well, I love music, the arts, travel, searching for that perfect antique, exploring neat little towns that are off the beaten track, going barefoot, BBQ's, gardening, camping, & walks in the woods or along the beach with Sanders, my dog (Springer Spaniel). My favorite treat is having a man cook for me. I enjoy taking classes that enrich my creative side and also love the pleasures of sharing my spare time volunteering.
