  1. In the South, we call these Angel Biscuits (maybe for their lightness?). My grandmother O. made the best and I am so happy to have this recipe. They remind me of her. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Excellent biscuits! They came out so light. I mixed mine in the food processor and was careful not to overmix. We had a few as a side with dinner. I put the rest in the freezer and can't wait to bicuits and gravy this weekend for breakfast. Thanks for posting!

  3. I've been making these for a year now and think they are wonderful for a busy mother and baker! They are light and versatile: we have them as biscuits and sometimes I break of chunks (golf ball sized) and make a dimple in them, stuff it with cheese and onion and seal it up again and then bake as normal - my kids call these cheese puffs and adore them. I've even used the dough, flattened out, as a pie crust when I was short of time. Thank you SO much for this recipe!

  4. VERY, VERY TASTY, THESE, & the recipe is certainly a keeper! Warm & buttered, I sprinkled them with with another recipe I'd just made ~ recipe #101898 #101898 ~ & they were great! [Tagged, made & reviewed for one of my adoptees in the current Pick-A-Chef]

  5. this is a good recipe, I use dry buttermilk, and was fine, the dough was sticky, and I had to grease the pan, makes alot but love that homemade flavor, and they are light, and addictive! well worth making.
