  1. Oh my yooper!! You have a definite winner in this one!! I made this exactly as the recipe states. It is awesome!! The flavors melding in this one are just superb. The creamy apples with the crunchy topping, YUM! I will make this one a lot!! Thanks!

  2. Absolutely delicious! The only change I made was to substitute walnuts for the pecans. I served it with vanilla ice cream and the whole family just devoured it. I think there might have been a small spoonful left...it was that good.

  3. This was a perfect recipe to serve my 12 dinner guests....I had it baking in the oven while we ate dinner and the smell was wonderful. Very impressive dessert with very little effort. I cut up my apples earlier in the day and let them sit in a ziplock bag with some pineapple juice so they would not turn. I served it with Moomers Ice Cream....

  4. I served this to 7 people...including myself...and we all loved it. It was a very tasteful dessert. My dad and brothers were hessentent to try it but once they did, they couldnt stop complementing me on it. There were only a few things I did dif. I used 3lbs of granny smith apples used a peeler/corer then sliced them...made them really small. I made a double batch for the topping/crust. Added extra cin. ontop of the finished product. And some nutmeg into the flour and brown sugar mixture before adding butter for the topping/crust. Id give it a lot more stars if possible this was an amazing cobbler! 14 thumbs up!

  2. I made this for my friend's family. It was great. We topped it with vanilla ice cream. I made two very small changes...I used on teaspoon of of cinnamon and substituted walnuts for the pecans because I didn't have any pecans on hand.
