ingredients
- 1 pint dulce de leche ice cream
- 2 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 1⁄4 teaspoons salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1⁄4 cups butterscotch chips
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1⁄4 teaspoon allspice
- 1⁄8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1⁄2 cup stick butter, softened
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 12 ounces vanilla frosting
directions
- let ice cream melt at room temperature.
- heat oven to 350* -- coat a jelly roll pan with spray.
- line with foil -- extending over the edges and sides --
- coat foil with spray.
- in medium bowl, whisk flour, salt, baking powder, allspice, and nutmeg --
- beat in melted ice cream, scraping down sides of bowl.
- at low speed, beat in flour mixture until smooth.
- fold in 1 cup butterscotch chips.spread batter in prepared pan --
- Bake at 350* until dry to touch.
- about 25 minutes.
- let cool in pan on rack.
- smoothly spread bar with frosting --
- melt remaining 1/4 cup butterscotch chips with oil in glass bowl, in microwave oven for about 45 seconds on high --
- stir till smooth.
- pipe in lines over frosted bars.lightly drag knife across lines --
- refrigerate and cut into bars to serve -- .

I love cooking, and reading Christian fiction..I have 5 grandchildren..4 boys and 1 spoiled granddaughter...I also have a black cocker spaniel named Tobey..who is very spoiled..Love computer games, cross stitch and reading cookbooks..I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia almost a year ago, on September 26, 2005....was in an out of the hospital for 8 months, doing intensive chemo...I am doing well now, thanks for all the prayers...
