  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
  • In large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, milk and egg. Beat on low speed until blended, about 1 minute. Stir in pecans. Spread batter in prepared pan and sprinkle butterscorch chips evenly over top.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until tester comes out clean.

  1. This is divine! I used a 9x13 pan and it worked out just fine - the batter rised quite a bit. In fact, these are more of a cake bar. Also, I used the Better Than Pam Release recipe you can find here, then put a piece of parchment on the bottom, then lightly greased that too. I'm glad I did because they came out of the pan very nicely. These will be a nice surprise on my Thanksgiving dessert table - butterscotch is always a surprise to most. Thank you!
